Privacy
Privacy Policy.
Last updated: October 2026
This policy explains what coexist.global collects, why, and the rights you have over your data.
1. The controller
coexist.global (the “Site”) is owned, operated and edited by KAB MIDDLE EAST LLC, registered under number 2434416, with its registered office at Sharjah Media City, Sharjah, United Arab Emirates (“COEXIST”, “we”, “us”). We are the data controller for personal data processed through the Site.
2. Data we collect
We collect only what the Map of Humanity requires:
• Account data — your email address when you create an account or claim a place.
• Place data — the display name, country, optional profile image and wishes you attach to your place.
• Payment data — processed by our payment provider; we never see or store your full card details.
• Technical data — basic device and usage information (browser type, pages visited) needed to secure and improve the Site.
We never request your postal address and do not collect precise location data: your place is linked to a country, never to where you live.
3. Purposes and legal bases
We process your data to: create and maintain your place and Human Number; display the content you chose to make public; process your $1 yearly contribution; operate the Human Chain; secure and improve the Site; and respond to your requests.
The corresponding legal bases are: performance of our agreement with you; your consent (optional public content, and cookies where required); our legitimate interest in the security and improvement of the Site; and compliance with legal obligations (accounting and payment records).
We do not sell your personal data and do not build advertising profiles.
4. What is public
The Map of Humanity is a public monument: your Human Number, display name, country and any wish you marked as public are visible to everyone. Your first wish is public by design; your second and third remain private unless you choose otherwise. Your email address and payment information are never public.
5. Recipients and international transfers
We share data only with the service providers that operate the Site on our behalf — hosting, authentication, payment processing and analytics — under contracts that protect your data. Data may be processed outside your country of residence; where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for such transfers.
6. Retention
Your place and Human Number are retained for as long as your place remains active; inactive numbers are never reassigned. Account and payment records are kept for the period required by applicable law, then deleted or anonymised.
7. Security
We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against unauthorised access, loss or disclosure. No method of transmission over the internet is fully secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at the address stated in Section 1. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
9. Cookies
We use only the cookies and storage strictly necessary to keep you signed in and the Site functioning, plus privacy-respecting usage measurement. You can control cookies through your browser settings.
10. Children
The Site is not directed at children under 16. If you believe a child has provided us personal data without parental consent, contact us and we will delete it.
11. Changes and contact
We may amend this policy from time to time; the version published on this page governs. For any privacy question or request, contact KAB MIDDLE EAST LLC at its registered office stated in Section 1.
